Kalika Tallou (She/Her/Asdzáán), Diné/Ute, is the Creative Director at New Mexico Community Capital (NMCC), where she leads the narrative shift toward Indigenous economic sovereignty. A pivotal force behind "The Future Is Indigenous Women" initiative, Kalika spearheads the strategic transition from extractive economic pipelines to restorative, sovereign waterways with the team and partners at native Women Lead.
Since 2018, she has served as a vital Kinship Connector, forging the Southwest and international relationships essential to NMCC’s institutional growth. A 2015 NEIR graduate and Co-Founder of Native Women Lead (2017), she masterfully blends her entrepreneurial roots in Indigenous wellness with a commitment to "Visual Sovereignty"—reclaiming and amplifying Indigenous voices through high-impact storytelling and creative visioning. Kalika is a leading voice in the Community Table Building, Community Of Support and Storytelling teams, dedicated to weaving a future where Indigenous entrepreneurs lead with strength, joy, and ancestral wisdom.
