Ari Tenorio is a marketing and design specialist with the New Mexico Community Capital Marketing Team, where she supports storytelling efforts through content creation, branding, and communication strategy. From managing social media to developing visual and written assets, Ari helps amplify the powerful stories and impact of NMCC’s work in community.

With a background in Museum & Gallery Management, Ari’s career began in the arts but a need to serve her community led her to pivot into policy and advocacy. She went on to work with several Tribal governments, including the All Pueblo Council of Governors, where she served as a government-to-government and policy advisor. Her professional path has also included key roles in Native-led nonprofits, specializing in project management and communications.

Now fully immersed in storytelling, Ari blends her creative roots with her deep commitment to Indigenous representation and sovereignty. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and dominating at trivia nights.

Ari is from the Pueblo of San Felipe and was raised in her traditional homelands. She and her family remain dedicated to sustaining the agricultural traditions that have been practiced by her community since time immemorial.
