Mobilizing resources to advance social and economic equity is Clare Zurawski’s core expertise and motivation. After initially joining the NMCC team in 2015 as a business mentor in the NEIR accelerator, her role now encompasses program strategy, fundraising, impact evaluation, and grant reporting as required by our federal and foundation partners. Ms. Zurawski brings deep grassroots economic development experience in self-employment and access to markets initiatives throughout New Mexico, including Taos Pueblo and the Navajo Nation. She holds a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Policy and Planning from the University of New Mexico.
