New Mexico Community Capital Relocates to Bernalillo
April 20, 2006
Santa Fe, NM - New Mexico Community Capital (NMCC) recently relocated their offices from Santa Fe to the historic town of Bernalillo.
"We are excited to be a part of the dynamic Bernalillo scene," said NMCC CEO Jarratt Applewhite. "We moved to this vibrant rural community, because it feels like home and reflects our commitment to put our capital to work in under-served locales."
NMCC's mission is to improve the lives of New Mexicans, particularly those in rural and underinvested areas, by making equity investments in New Mexican businesses, helping those companies prosper, create jobs, and contribute to their communities. New Mexico Community Capital believes that the best form of economic development is a good job and that jobs are created by great local businesses that care about their employees and their communities.
According to Nick Vuillemot, Executive Director of the Greater Bernalillo Chamber of Commerce, "The Chamber is looking forward to working with NMCC to accomplish mutual goals."
NMCC's new address is 1115 South Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo's main avenue.
