At IMPACT-NM Business Growth Services, we build successful businesses. IMPACT-NM works with promising companies throughout New Mexico to help them create the strategies, master the skills, and acquire the outside resources they need to prosper.

How We Do It

IMPACT-NM Business Growth Services provides hands-on assistance, delivered by successful senior management-level business executives. An advisor becomes immersed in the client enterprise, shoulder to shoulder with the local team – a rewarding arrangement for both parties. By partnering with business owners and taking the time to understand their challenges, IMPACT-NM gives them the skills and knowledge to achieve accelerated growth and greater stability.

Who We Are

IMPACT-NM strives to see New Mexico’s private businesses grow and prosper. As business professionals, rather than social workers, we are paid for what we contribute to client businesses. However, services stay flexibly affordable – and are delivered with the belief that what we accomplish is even more important than how much we earn. On a project-by-project basis, IMPACT-NM management mobilizes outside associates who are some of the state’s best business talent.

New Mexico Community Capital founded IMPACT-NM to ensure that New Mexico businesses have the skills they need to grow and use equity capital effectively, irregardless of whether they become NMCC client companies. By giving them access to experienced professionals, they expand and improve by using new methods, resourceful financings, and creative growth and performance strategies.

Client Size & Type

IMPACT-NM seeks client companies that have potential for significant growth, profitability and beneficial community impact, regardless of size at the time of first engagement. IMPACT-NM assists clients in diverse industries, limited only by the potential of the business enterprise and the availability of IMPACT-NM talent. We seek applicant companies led by innovative, ambitious individuals, committed to providing a superior workplace environment.

Companies receive preference for IMPACT-NM's services if they meet the following criteria:

Exhibit a pattern of sustained revenue growth, and are cash flow positive;
Operate in rural or under-invested areas of the state not readily served by high-level, multi-dimensional business service firms; and
Demonstrate the capacity to achieve social and financial objectives.

Cost of Services

IMPACT-NM bills its services at market rates, however agrees up-front how much, when and how services will be paid. Deferred payment terms are negotiable and subsidized rates are available until and unless IMPACT-NM spurred growth enables clients to pay a larger percentage. Fees based on performance and achievement of targets are also negotiable.

Is IMPACT-NM Right for Your Company?

Interested businesses should contact IMPACT-NM. If the business and IMPACT-NM mutually agree that a relationship would be beneficial, IMPACT-NM sends a team to the business for a one- to two-day, free assessment. IMPACT-NM then submits an assessment/proposal to the business describing steps it believes the business needs to take to grow and prosper, how IMPACT-NM proposes to assist the business in meeting these goals, and how the client may retain IMPACT-NM to assist. If the client accepts the proposal, IMPACT-NM and the client execute an engagement letter, roll up their sleeves and get to work creating a stronger and more successful business.
